PRIMARY SCHOOL
SPORTSPRIMARY Sports
Overview
Soccer, swimming, cricket and hockey receive the most emphasis at the Primary school of The International School of South Africa. High quality facilities and coaching from teachers and outside facilitators ensure that our learners are getting the best possible training and opportunity as they look to constantly improve their skills.
Sport does not only provide a platform for excellence and wellness, it is also a teacher of life skills, and our coaches try to instil our daily values of Respect for All, Hard Work, Honesty, Responsibility, Social Awareness and Compassion into this aspect of the learners development. Life skills and values are not only for those with a talent for sport, and so sport at ISSA is for every child.
Gym
In addition to the above sporting codes, boys and girls are also offered; athletics, tennis, netball, volleyball and basketball through the school terms.
