Design and Technology is a problem-solving subject.It develops students’ critical thinking, creativity and skills through practical activities in the work shop. Students learn design, designing and making artifacts,using materials such as wood, metal and plastics.

They learn technological processes covering electronics, structures, mechanisms, systems and draw graphics of various machines and equipment to mention a few.Students who do Design and Technology will be enlightened about the processes in developing technology.

They will be able to approach problems, challenges and situations in life in a more constructive and dynamic way.The subject cuts across a variety of professions or careers from architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, product design, project management, industrial design and electrical engineering - just to mention a few.
