Choir
ISSA SENIOR CHOIR
Since the inception of ISSA twenty years ago, a great variety of different choral groups have featured. The most recent (2009) was the outstanding ISSA Boy’s Choir, under the leadership of the current H.O.D, Mrs Roza Elderkin. This was a very productive and successful venture. At the same time, newly appointed Mrs Linda van Zyl initiated a large and very enthusiastic Girl’s Choir.
At the start of 2010 the two choirs successfully joined forces, mainly due to preparation for the 2010 school production, “Mama Africa”, in which this choir will feature.
ISSA YOUTH CHOIR
A group of form five students, under the leadership of Naledi Mabe (student) took the initiative to form a fifteen strong vocal group. Their preferred performance genres are African traditional music, as well as gospel music. The group are to feature as part of this years annual school production.
